
Evin is an extremely exciting producer from Santa Barbara, Honduras. This marks our fifth year purchasing from Evin and his wife Alma, who together are producing some of the most thought‑provoking coffees in the region. During the 2024 harvest, co‑owner Mark and head of procurement Ryan were able to visit Evin, Alma, and their family—an insightful look into their approach to producing such outstanding lots. Spending the day with Evin, it became clear just how profoundly specialty coffee has shaped his life and the future he envisions for his family. Our second release from Evin is an inspired lot with refined acidity, texture, and sweetness. Evin and Alma care passionately about the farming and processing of every lot from their farms, and year after year the results from La Montañita speak for themselves. The 2025 harvest continues that tradition, showcasing their dedication and craft.
