Tucked into Rwanda's Southern Province at a lofty 1,771 metres, Kibirizi washing station brings together the harvests of around 1,130 smallholder farmers each tending plots of less than a hectare with remarkable care & dedication. Ripe, red cherries are hand picked, wet fermented & washed before being laid out on raised beds to dry. This fully washed process strips things back to let the coffee's natural character shine through vibrantly. Every purchase of this coffee contributes to Sucafina's Beyond Flagship project. An initiative investing in regenerative agriculture & livelihood diversification for Rwandan farming families, aiming to close the living income gap.
