Grown at over 2,100m in the highlands of southern Ethiopia, this coffee comes from the Buku Seyisa kebele and is processed at Bishan Wate 64 a premium washing station established by family-ownedA0Testi Coffee. The site was purpose-built in 2021, selected for its elevation, cool climate and access to fresh water from the nearby Wate River 64 all key factors in producing exceptionally clean and complex coffees. During harvest, cherries are delivered daily by 600 6800 smallholder farmers from surrounding villages. Each delivery is separated by kebele, allowing for greater traceability and clarity in the cup. This particular lot highlights the unique character of Buku Seyisa. Farmers in this region cultivate coffee organically on small plots, growing under native shade trees alongside crops like corn and bananas. The high altitude and slow cherry maturation result in dense beans and a refined, layered cup profile. Produced under Testi 64s Premium Cherry Selection (PCS) program, only the ripest cherries are selected 64 ensuring outstanding quality, clarity and sweetness in every cup.
