Uganda Nyabubare - Espresso Roast

About this coffee

Grown by smallholder farmers averaging just 0.7 hectares in the highlands of Bushenyi, Mitooma, and Rubirizi, this SL14 and SL28 lot is processed using a yeast inoculated fully washed method. Yeast inoculation introduces specific cultures during fermentation, enhancing flavour clarity and consistency. This coffee is then fully washed, meaning the fruit skin and pulp are removed and the beans are rinsed. The result is a clean, bright & unique cup. Nyabubare washing station gives local farmers access to a premium market and a more sustainable future. Every purchase of this coffee contributes to the IMPACT Beyond Flagship program, supporting growers with the tools they need to achieve higher yields and better quality in the field.
