Ethiopia - Huke Premium Filter Roast

About this coffee

This coffee comes from Huke washing station, a premium facility built in 2021 by Testi Coffee in the Banko Gotiti kebele of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Sitting at 2,100 metres above sea level, Huke was carefully chosen for its elevation, cool climate and access to clean, fresh water conditions ideal for producing coffees of clarity and depth. During harvest, around 500 nearby smallholder farmers deliver freshly picked cherry daily, which is processed separately by kebele for greater traceability. This lot comes exclusively from Banko Gotiti. Most producers farm organically on tiny plots, where coffee grows slowly under native shade trees, developing dense beans and complex sweetness. Produced as part of Testi’s Premium Cherry Selection program, only the ripest cherries were selected, resulting in an exceptionally clean and expressive cup. Tasting Notes: Delicate florals and bergamot, with juicy blueberry and peach layered through a jammy sweetness. Elegant, with an Earl Grey like finish.
