Praxadez López is a dedicated coffee grower, carrying forward a proud family tradition. Nestled in the cloud-covered mountains of San Pedro el Alto, Oaxaca, his farm Finca La Primavera thrives. Together with his wife Luciana, Praxadez cultivates extraordinary lots: coffees that embody the story of family, farming, and place. This particular lot offers a vivid glimpse into the region’s diversity and quality. It presents approachable acidity and sweetness, finishing with a distinctive character that sets it apart; beautifully complementing the other coffees on our current filter menu. From an Australian perspective, Mexico has emerged as one of the most exciting coffee origins in recent years. Access to its diverse regions and the flow of information about them has steadily grown, sparking greater interest and appreciation. Through our long-term partners at Caravela, we’ve secured two exceptional lots this year, each a captivating interplay of flavour, farm, and fermentation.
